"He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity in our hearts, except that no one can fathom the work that God does from beginning to end. I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives.

I Turned Every Way
I turned every way, but there was no one to help me. I looked for one to sustain me, but could find no one. But then I remembered the mercies of the Lord, his kindness through ages past; for he saves those who take refuge in him, and rescues them from every evil.

On Mission Statements.
Life has for each a mission,
Fine-tailored to the man:
Someone to be, some deed to do,
One's part within the Plan.
But, to find that part aright,
To sing one's proper tune,
A man need lay aside all else
And seek but to assume
The humble stance of readied sail,
Awaiting wind's next breeze:
His will well-set, his eye aware--
His Maker set to please.
For, roles are only known, in fine,
And steps made well apace,
When the soul is open whole
To moment's proper grace.
